The Late Bloomer: An Interview with Justin Parizek

Before the Idaho Steelheads took on the Kalamazoo Wings in a three-game series earlier this month, I had the opportunity to interview All-Star Idaho forward Justin Parizek. Listen in as he talks about playing in the hockey-rich state of Minnesota, taking a few years in the juniors before going to the University of Nebraska-Omaha, the team chemistry of the Steelheads, his Christian faith, and some rapid-fire questions about his favorite hockey team, players, and moments. 

01/05/18: Post-Game Interview with Head Coach Neil Graham

The Idaho Steelheads' 6-3 victory over the Allen Americans marked win number 100 for Head Coach Neil Graham. The 32-year-old Calgary native sat down with The Sin Bin to discuss the milestone. Graham also elaborated on overcoming the three-game losing streak heading into Friday's match, how collapsing in the third period against Utah last week was a learning moment for the team, and what steps it took for Idaho to pull ahead and defeat Allen with a tie game after two periods.

01/05/18: Post-Game Interview with Justin Parizek

Newly dubbed ECHL All-Star Justin Parizek joined me for a quick interview after the Steelheads defeated the Allen Americans 6-3 on Friday night at CenturyLink Arena. We spoke on his assist on the go-ahead goal by Steven McParland, his recent PTO in the AHL with the San Jose Barracuda, and how the rookie forward feels being named to the Mountain Division squad at the ECHL All-Star Classic in Indianapolis, IN.

12/15/17: Post-Game Interview with Coach Neil Graham

Coach Graham answers questions about the Steelheads' physical gameplay in their first home game ever versus the Wichita Thunder, whether or not he has to dictate fights, if he and the team get extra motivation from the standings, and how deep this team really is for the 2017-18 season.

Idaho Steelheads goaltender Ryan Faragher discusses his success between the pipes after a 2-0 shutout against Utah on December 9th and his near shutout performance tonight. We also talk about his time in Boise since being acquired from Manchester, some of his favorite metal bands, and why he wore the number 1 during the St. Luke's Jersey Auction game.

Tommy talks about his readjustment being back in Boise, his chemistry with the first line, and what he considers to be his greatest strength on the ice.
